Dr Cornelius is first seen on Archeon Temple Ruins and is sought after because Professor Hardback requests the player to talk to him.
Dr Cornelius is located in the green camping tent on the left on Archeon Temple Ruins in the bottom left quadrant.
Dr Cornelius is the one that gives the player a Camera that can be used to take photos of land animals and birds.
Main Quest[]
When first approached Dr Cornelius says:
- "Well hello there! Are you here to help with the excavation?"
- Two options appear for the player to choose: "Hand me a shovel - it's digging time!" and "I'm an explorer, not an excavator!"
If the player chooses the first option Dr Cornelius will say:
- "Such enthusiasm! Let's get started..."
- "Wait! Your name is <Insert player's name>? Ms. Quickblade sent me a telegram alerting me to your arrival!"
- "Her tales of your seafaring exploits brought memories of my former life flooding back..."
- "My travels with Seabeard were full of excitement, discovery, laughter and, ultimately, tragedy."
- "Colosso took my closest friend, but with my sorrow came revelation..."
- "I thought I knew everything, but seeing that leviathan made me realise that I knew nothing."
- "But enough if my self-pity. I want to help you to follow in Seabeard's magnificent footsteps!"
- "One of my biggest regrets is that I saw so many things beyond my wildest imagination..."
- "And yet I had nothing but my unreliable brain to remember them by."
- "That's why I created the Cornelius Advanced Modifiable Eye Replicator Alpha!"
- "I call it the Camera for short. Catchy, eh?"
- "I don't want your adventures to slip from your mind so easily, so please, take this Camera!"
- "First of all, let's see if you can capture an image of ME!"
- "Just tap the Camera once to enter Picture Mode."
- "You can drag the View Cone around to focus on something different."
- "Then tap the Camera again to take a picture!"
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of Dr Cornelius.
Upon approaching him after taking the photo [[Dr Cornelius}]] says:
- "So, did it work? Did you manage to get a flattering shot of me?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to drag the photo over to him.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "The Camera appears to capture everything except my hair - how unusual! Or is everyone just being polite?"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Wonderful! Now head to Whiseman Reef and use that Camera to take a picture of Professor Hornsby."
- "She's no doubt nose-deep in star charts or gazing into space, so head north, to the observatory!"
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of Professor Hornsby.
Upon returning with the photo of Professor Hornsby Dr Cornelius says:
- "Did you get the picture of Professor Hornsby? There's only one astronomer on Whiseman Reef!"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to drag the photo over to him.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Oh, it's almost as if she's here with us. You're a natural!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "For the next test, I'd like you to locate a Red Fox and capture its likeness with the Camera!"
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of a Red Fox.
Upon approaching Dr Cornelius with the photo of a Red Fox he says:
- "My goodness! Have you taken the first ever picture of a Red Fox?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to drag the photo over to him.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "You have! Remarkable! This Camera is going to change everything!"
- "I'll let you hang onto that photo - I know someone will want it even more than me..."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "My esteemed colleague Cuthbert Pawmaster would bite your arm off for that Red Fox photograph!"
- "He wishes to catalogue every creature in the land, but his sketches leave much to be desired."
- "A photograph would provide evidence of each beastie that even the most skeptical scholar could not deny!"
- "Whisk yourself away to Whiseman Reef and show that Red Fox photo it to Cuthbert Pawmaster."
- "He's an eccentric-looking fellow, I'm sure you'll find him somewhere in the University Building."
The player then receives a quest to identify one land animal.
Upon returning after identifying one land animal Dr Cornelius says:
- "Marvellous! You'll have the greatest record of creatures ever!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Your final test is to solve a mystery! The whereabouts of one of our greatest minds has evaded us for three decades now..."
- "I speak of the celebrated thinker Wendy Burlap! She turned her back on academia to test the limits of personal endurance."
- "Wendy Burlap is believed to be living in isolation somewhere within the Dorado Mine."
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of Wendy Burlap.
Upon returning with the photo of Wendy Burlap Dr Cornelius says:
- "Have you done it? Have you actually located Wendy Burlap in the Dorado Mine? I must see the proof?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to drag the photo over to him.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "THAT'S Wendy? Yes, it's definitely her. I only iwsh I could understand what's going on in that head of hers...I'm just glad she's safe.
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "The reason I've had so much time to develop my Camera is because my efforts to explore here have come to an impasse."
- "By which I mean that the bridge to the Archeon Temple entrance is in ruins!"
- "I know next to nothing about construction, and my long-jumping days are behind me - do you think you could repair the bridge?"
The player then receives a quest to repair the Stone Bridge.
Upon approaching [[Dr Cornelius}] after the Stone Bridge is complete he says the following:
- "You are helpfulness personified! I can't quite believe that Archeon Temple is accessible once more!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "You're about to be one of the first people to set foot in Archeon Temple's antechamber for centuries!"
- "However, progressing any further may be a challenge. The mysterious architects responsible for its design were deviously clever!"
- "Research shows that access into the temple's inner chambers is restricted by an intricate system of codes and puzzles."
- <Insert player's name>, can I count on you to venture inside and take a picture of an Archeon Code? I'd go first, but I , er, don't want to."
- "Keep your peepers peeled for a grid of stone with a key above on the wall!"
The player then receives a quest to give him a photo of some Archeon Code.
Upon approaching Dr Cornelius with the photo of the Archeon Code he says:
- "If you spot a grid of stone with a key above on a temple wall, you've located an Archeon Code. Did you get a picture of one?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to drag over the photo to him and he says if it is not good enough:
- "This doesn't appear to be an Archeon Code... I'm almost certain that it should resemble a grid of square stones with a key above."
If it is good enough he says the following:
- "And there it is - An Archeon Code! The legends are true, <Insert player's name>!"
- "You'd best hand on to that photo, you'll be needing it shortly."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Now you've located an Archeon Code, your next task is to find its counterpart, better known as an Archeon Puzzle!"
- "I have a theory that the Archeon Code you found is critical to unravelling the Archeon Puzzle.
- "Return to the temple and find the Archeon Puzzle - you may have already come across it on your previous visit!"
- "If you can get that Puzzle to match the Code, I believe you may be able to gain access to the temple's inner chambers."
The player then receives a quest to solve the Archeon Puzzle.
Upon returning to Dr Cornelius after solving the Archeon Puzzle he says:
- "You found the puzzle and it worked? This. Is. INCREDIBLE! We're venturing into truly uncharted territory now, <Insert player's name>."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "We're so close to getting inside the main temple - I can feel it! Also, that's what it says on this map."
- "My professional life has been devoted to discovering Archeon's secrets - I've been collecting my findings in my trusty notebook..."
- "Where's my notebook?! Actually, where's my assistant? You don't think...?"
- "If my suspicions are correct, you'll find that sticky-fingered Doza on Seadog Cove trying to gain passage back to Ironblack City."
The player then receives a quest to bring back the fugitive.
Upon returning with the fugitive [[{{PAGENAME]]] says:
- "My precious notebook! How can I ever repay you?"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Take pity on the thief - I have it on good authority that they were being blackmailed. The notebook's worth more than it looks!"
- "With my notebook back in its rightful place, it's time to unlock the Archeon Temple's deepest secrets!"
- "According to this, three conditions must be fulfilled before we can explore further."
- "First, we must located a golden statue of the goddess Virprattla's three tails. I've narrowed its location to a nearby island..."
The player then receives a quest to have the Archeon Three-tail Statue.
Upon returning with the Archeon Three-tail Statue Dr Cornelius says:
- "You've tracked it down! I hope the next one isn't quite so bothersome."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "I know I'm already asking too much of you, but my poor team is dying for a decent meal."
- "We've been eating the same flavourless swill for months! Do you think you could bring us 2 Omelettes & 1 Strawberry Cake?"
- "Nobody makes them better than Gabriel Flambé - I'm sure he'll teach you the recipe if you don't already know it."
The player then receives a quest to give him two Omelettes and one Strawberry Cake.
Upon returning with the two Omelettes and one Strawberry Cake Dr Cornelius says:
- "Did you get 2 Omelettes & 1 Strawberry Cake? Head to Flambé on Larona Village if you don't know the recipes.
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to give him the food.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "What a festival of flavours! My tastebudes thank you."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Do you know what else I miss? Grog. Lovely, guy-rotting grog."
- "The finest Grog can be found on Seadog Cove... It's a very important part of the process, I assure you!"
The player then receives a quest to give him Grog.
Upon returning with the Grog Dr Cornelius says:
- "I just don't think I cant continue this search without some Grog from Seadog Cove. You don't mind, do you?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius then the player has to drag him the food.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "GROG! Delicious - guzzle - Grog. Oh, that's - guzzle - hitting the - guzzle - spot. Thanksch you pair!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Ooh, my poor head... Never again. What say we continue with our quest to enter the temple?"
- "What do my notes say? Ah, yes! There is a second golden statue to be found, this time Viprattla's three heads."
- "My sources tell me that it was purchased from a travelling merchant by a resident of Larona Village, but they do not know who."
The player then receives a quest to have the Archeon Three-head Statue.
Upon returning with the Archeon Three-head Statue Dr Cornelius says:
- "Oh my! I can't believe you found it! You found it where?!"
- "Well, no matter - keep it safe, we shall need it soon... Just one more step to go?"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Do you know the saying, 'The more, the merrier"? Well, I think it's time you thought about getting merry."
- "A Warrior is a useful bodyguard, but you'll also need an Archaeologist to make sense of your discoveries."
- "Both are essential for a temple exploration, so you're going to need a boat that can carry 2 crewmembers!"
- "If you haven't upgraded already, make a beeline for Seadog Cove!"
The player then receives a quest to have a boat with two crew capacity.
Upon returning with a boat which can hold at least two crew members Dr Cornelius says:
- "That ship will do the job - now you're equipped to have an extra crewmember join you on your travels!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "We're one step away from opening the doors to the catacombs, but I need more time to ascertain the third key's location..."
- "Fortunately, I have just the task to keep you busy in the meantime. You see, I am too fragile to face the danger within..."
- "...But you will not make meaningful progress without a top-drawer archaeologist in your number. And I know just the person."
- "My darling daughter Etta is perhaps the finest archaeologist of her generation..."
- "...And yet she has been entranced by a life of carefree leisure."
- "Perhaps news of my progress would snap her out of this idle reverie?"
The player then receives a quest hire an Archaeologist.
Upon returning to Dr Cornelius with Etta Cornelius hired as an Archaeologist he says:
- "Etta my dear, you must aid <Insert player's name> on their quest to discover the secrets of Archeon Temple! Also, nice tan!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Etta! My little girl's back! I mean... It's good to have you back on board Dr. Cornelius. Now, to work!"
- "Explore the antechamber and see if you can dig up a Mud Clod from a Dirt Pile."
The player then receives a quest to have one Mud Clod.
Upon returning with a Mud Clod Dr Cornelius says:
- "It's so good to see Etta doing what she does best again. It's tough for a proud father to remain professional!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Now, as you may have already guessed, there's more to that mud than meets the eye!"
- "Take it over to Whiseman Reef to be analysed in the IdentifEye 5000."
The player then receives a quest to use the IdentifEye 5000.
Upon placing the Mud Clod in the IdentifEye 5000 and returning to Dr Cornelius he says:
- "Wizard! It's amazing what historical artefacts are hiding in such unassuming lumps of dirt!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Now you could put any artefacts you discover in Mud Clods in a museum, OR you could think about selling them for a tidy profit."
- "You know Alistair McCubbin, yes? I'm sure he'd be able to advise you on such affairs."
The player then receives a quest to help Alistair McCubbin.
Upon returning to Dr Cornelius after helping Alistair McCubbin he says:
- "Finally! We can turn my calling into a lucrative source of income!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "So have you discovered any more Antiques with the IdentifEye 5000? They're worth a small fortune, you know!"
- "This expedition's not going to be cheap, I'm afraid, so try putting it up for sale on your new Antiques Stall."
The player then receives a quest to supply the Antiques Trader.
Upon returning after supplying Mary Bygone Dr Cornelius says:
- "I know that Antique probably had great historical value, but look at all that money!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Big news! While you've been recruiting Etta, I've had a breakthrough!"
- "Concealed etchings on those two statues you found appear to be coordinates pointing to a location within Dorado Mine..."
- "Take Etta with you and dig up any Dirt Piles that you can find. I'll wager that doing so will unearth the hidden key!"
The player then receives a quest to find the lost Archeon Key.
Upon returning with the Archeon Key Dr Cornelius says:
- "I'm almost certain that the final key to reach the temple's inner chambers is concealed in a Dirt Pile in the Dorado Mine. Did you find it?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Dr Cornelius says the following after the Archeon Key is dragged over to him:
- "I can scarcely believe it... We have the key! A lifetime's work is about to come to fruition... We must hurry to the temple gates!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "You've done so much to make this happen in such little time... It seems only fair to give you the honour of unlocking it."
- "Sorry! You know I can't resist a mystery. Let's get the Archeon Temple gates - I can't believe I'm saying this - OPENED!"
The player then receives a quest to unlock the Archeon Temple Gates.
Upon returning after unlocking the Archeon Temple Gates Dr Cornelius says:
- "The doors to Archeon Temple are open once more! I'll never forget this moment for as long as what little of my short life remains."
- "I suspect it was so heavily secured because it's overflowing with untold riches! Or...Oh. Untold horrors. Hadn't thought of that."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Well,er, wouldn't you know it? It's crawling with Rock Golems. Still, we - that is, you - must battle through!"
- "Put your Warrior to good use - clear a path for me by defeating at least 10 Rock Golems!"
The player then receives a quest to defeat 10 Rock Golems.
Upon returning to Dr Cornelius after defeating 10 Rock Golems he says:
- "The coast is clear! I....I'm finally going to set foot within Archeon Temple's inner chamber. (Okay, deep breath, Timothy.) Here I go!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "All these Monster Parts you're gathering shouldn't be left to fester in your inventory."
- "Rich tourists love this sort of stuff, so keep them spending by restocking your Monster Parts Stall 5 times!"
The player then receives a quest to supply the Monster Parts Stall five times.
Upon approaching him after supplying the Monster Parts Stall at least five times he says:
- "Selling like hot cakes!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "There seem to be no end to these awful Rock Golems! Where do they come from? What ancient sorcery animates them?"
- "All I care about right now is keeping those things away from me. I've had success with Scaretues in the past..."
- "Scaretues? They're like scarecrows for monsters! Craft 3 for me so that I can continue my investigation in peace."
- "Leland Woodchuck over on Woodcutt Isle knows the trick to crafting them!"
The player then receives a quest to give three Scaretues.
Upon returning with three Scaretrues Dr Cornelius says:
- "I really need 3 Scaretrues, otherwise those temple doors might as well have stayed locked!"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to give the three Scaretrues to Dr Cornelius.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Aha! These should send those Rock Golems scuttling back to... wherever it is they emerged from. Good riddance."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "I've spent some time exploring the first antechamber and made an interesting discovery..."
- "It was used to accommodate pilgrims who'd travelled the world over to visit the temple."
- "This suggests that Archeon Temple is home to something of great significance."
- "You must investigate further. First, explore the second set of caves - I believe you'll find the temple acolytes' sleeping quarters there."
- "Try to dig up a Goat Statue. Goats were a big deal, for some reason. Etta and the IdentifEye 500 are your friends once more."
The player then receives a quest to give him a Goat Statue.
Upon returning with a Goat Statue Dr Cornelius says:
- "Battle through the second set of caves and use Etta to dig up a Goat Statue. It's probably concealed with in a Mud Clod.. did you find one?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the Goat Statue to Dr Cornelius.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Look at the inscription! "I went to Archeon Temple and all I got was this sacred goat." It's a souvenir - perfect for your Antiques stall!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "In all this excitement I've forgotten to eat. My poor tum hasn't forgotten though - listen to it roar!"
- "What I wouldn't give for a Doza Egg... Not that the Doza would ever speak to you, let alone part with a delicious egg."
- "A boring Bullhorn Farm Egg will have to suffice, I suppose. Perhaps you could liven my palate by bringing a Strawberry Cake too?"
The player then receives a quest to give him an striped chicken egg and Strawberry Cake.
Upon returning with the food Dr Cornelius says:
- "Please I can't continue solving ancient mysteries without an striped chicken egg and Strawberry Cake in my belly..."
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to give the food to Dr Cornelius.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "It's no Doza Egg, but I'm very grateful. I'll be sure that one of my helpers will keep me fed in the future. Back to work!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "I'm stunned that so many wild creatures have managed to survive within these walls... Or maybe they just another way in."
- "Regardless, the number of new species in here would make Cuthbert Pawmaster's head spin!"
- "This sounds like a perfect opportunity to put my Camera to use!"
- "Take photographs of at least 6 animals, then show them to Cuthbert on Whiseman Reef for cataloguing."
The player then receives a quest to identify six land animals.
Upon returning after identifying at least six land animals Dr Cornelius says:
- "I bet Cuthbert was delighted! It seems that Archeon offers significant value to many academic fields!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Now, we must venture into the third set of temple caves... According to my notes, they lead to the high priest's quarters."
- "The priests are said to have use a special Altar to provide sacrificial offerings to...something. A higher power, perhaps?"
- "Maybe the Altar itself will yield clues. Please, venture into the caves, take a clear photo of the Altar and return it to me for analysis."
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of the Archeon Priest Altar.
Upon returning with the photo of the Archeon Priest Altar Dr Cornelius says:
- "Within the third set of caves lies an ancient Altar. Did you manage to take a picture of it so that I may attempt to unravel its true purpose?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to give the picture of the Archon Priest Altar to Dr Cornelius.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "A perfect shot, thank you. Leave it with me for..Wait. Is that...Seabeard graffiti?! Impossible!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "I can't stop thinking about that graffiti... Could Seabeard himself be responsible?"
- "He was close to Rudolf - perhaps he'll know more. You should head back to Accordia."
The player then receives a quest to speak to Rudolf Taleweaver about the graffiti.
Upon approaching Dr Cornelius after talking to Rudolf Taleweaver about the graffiti he says:
- "So what did old Rudolf have to say?"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Hmm... So Seabeard must have seen something he felt necessary to keep to himself."
- "I suspect the last chamber holds the answers, but how in the world did he get in there?"
- "Those two pedestals... I feel they would accommodate a weight of similar dimensions."
- "What could we put those two pedestals? Do you think.... No, I'll leave this one for you to figure out."
The player then receives a quest to solve the Collosso Crypt.
Upon approaching Dr Cornelius after solving the Collosso Crypt he says:
- "Ha! So I was right about those Viprattla statues - the final chamber is unlocked!"
- "I'm just glad we use keys now. Imagine losing your house statues and having to get new ones cut! But I digress..."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "If Seabeard's already been in there, perhaps it's only fair that his descendant follows suit. It's nothing to do with me being scared."
- "Reach the secret chamber and take a picture of what you find - I'm looking for clues as to what spooked Seabeard."
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of a Giant Handcuff.
Upon returning with the photo Dr Cornelius says:
- "Please bring me a picture of the secret chamber - there must be something that tells us what it was used for."
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the photo to Dr Cornelius.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Well, would you look at that..."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Look - these great chains, the message on the door, the size of that hole! The chamber was a prison - a prison for..."
- "Colosso."
- "This temple was a place of worship, a tomb, perhaps even a ancient tourist attraction - and Colosso was the centre of it all."
- "Clearly it escaped its prison, but how? Did Seabeard accidentally awaken the beast? Is that why he remained silent?"
- "Whatever the truth, we cannot ignore the fact that opening Archeon Temple is a landmark day in Yorubo history!"
- "However, many questions remain unanswered - there is much studying to be done."
- "What you now call Accordia once had a Library unlike any other. It must be rebuilt!"
- "The reconstruction of the Library will require some common materials, but also a Scholar Plaque of which there is but one."
- "Wendy Burlap kept it as a memoir of Accordia's contributions to academia - perhaps it went with her to the Dorado Mine?"
- "Take Etta with you to the Dorado Mine and see if you can dig up a Dirt Pile containing the Scholar Plaque!"
The player then receives a quest to find the lost Scholar Plaque.
Upon approaching Dr Cornelius with the Scholar Plaque he says:
- "I'd suggest digging up as many Dirt Piles in the Dorado Mine as you can. One of them must contain the Scholar Plaque! Did you find it yet?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the photo to Dr Cornelius.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "You've dug up the Scholar Plaque! You and Etta really are a perfect team!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "You have everything you need to bring the joy of reading back to Accordia - bring back the Libary!"
- "Oh, and take a picture of it for me if you can, because I'm staying right here."
The player then receives a quest to repair the Accordia Library.
Upon returning after repairing the Accordia Library Dr Cornelius says:
- "Accordia has its own Library once more! I hope it brings as much joy and knowledge to your people as it did to me."
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "I'd wager that Etta has avoided her studies for some time - introduce her to the Library to expand her archaeological mind."
The player then receives a quest to have an Archaeologist on level two.
Upon returning to Dr Cornelius with Etta Cornelius as a level two Archaeologist he says:
- "What did I tell you? That Library has a remarkable effect on inquisitive minds!"
Dr Cornelius then gives the player the reward for the quest.
The Dr Cornelius then says the following:
- "Seabeard's vision of Accordia was one where all were welcome - no just Yorubo, but Doza and Nook too."
- "If Accordia is to be the same, you will have to rebuild the ties that Colosso helped sever."
- "Nook live in a hostile climate, so I'd advise starting with Doza. But be warned - Doza have a deep distrust to anyone but their own."
- "While I don't doubt your diplomatic abilities, reaching anyone of import may require some cunning. A disguise, perhaps?"
- "I'd strongly advise speaking to Rudolf first - he's never short of a good idea!"
- "I don't think I can ever thank you enough for your help - my life's work has meaning, and my daughter's faith has been restored."
- "I wish you all the luck in the world with your travels, <Insert player's name> - just promise you'll keep my Etta safe from harm!"
If approached again right after this Dr Cornelius says:
- "I'd strongly advise speaking to Rudolf first - he's never short of a good idea!"
The player then receives a quest to speak to Rudolf Taleweaver.
