The IdentifEye 5000 is a machine that can be found in the Whiseman Reef University on Whiseman Reef. It resides in the first main room on the right upon entering the university.
Professor Crucible and Priscilla Noble are two non-playable characters that are seen in the room where the machine resides.
Identifying Artifacts[]
Etta Cornelius needs to be on the player's crew to operate the machine. Placing Mud Clods in the IdentifEye 5000 will cause them to be identified into artifacts. It takes 20 minutes for the machine to identify an artifact inside the Mud Clod.
Once an item is an artifacts it can be sold at the Antiques Stall.
