Professor Hornsby is first seen on Whiseman Reef and is sought after because Dr Cornelius requests the player to take a picture of her.
Professor Hornsby resides in the Whiseman Reef Observatory on Whiseman Reef in the top right quadrant.
When first approached Professor Hornsby says:
- "From this one room, I am able to see further than you could travel in a million voyages!"
Side-Quests[]
When approached Professor Hornsby says:
- "I've seen fragments of...something falling from the stars."
- "Some fell toward Larona Village. If you find a Meteorite, please, bring it to me!"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Professor Hornsby then a side-quest to give her a Meteorite.
If approached again with a Meteorite she says:
- "Should I be excited? Do you have the Meteorite?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then Professor Hornsby says the following after the Meteorite is dragged over to her:
- <Insert what she says here>
- Sometimes it may say the item is found but when returning the item is not available to drag to her.
Professor Hornsby then gives the player the reward for the side-quest.
If the player does not have the Meteorite Professor Hornsby says:
- "But I've got so much to do! Please, nobody else will help me."
