Geodo Pickmason is first seen on Ironblack City in the back of the Geodo Fort.
The first time the player approaches him is after the player is asked to band speak to him by Pieter Pencilpush.
Introduction
The first thing Geodo Pickmason say when approached is:
- "Wait, is that you Seabeard?"
- Two options appear with "I've been told there's a family resemblance..." and "Yes! Returned from the depths on a mission of revenge!"
If "I've been told there's a family resemblance..." is selected then Geodo Pickmason says:
- "So you're young <Insert player's name>? Your timing is impeccable."
- "You've certainly inherited his bravery... Ah, where are my manners?"
- "My name is Pierce Pickmason, Geodo - that is to say, leader - of the Doza people."
- "I would be most grateful if you could spare the time to help me with a small problem."
- "Kings watch as their people work for them..."
- "But being Geodo means working harder for your people. In that respect, I am failing my people..."
- "I regret to say that I am beset by an affliction that burdens me with endless fatigue."
- "I have heard of a special concoction created by our legendary chef Phillipe Gastrognome."
- "However, the fool believes that takeaway food is below him, so I ask you to learn his secrets..."
- "Head to his establishment on Abundore Quarry and convince him to teach you."
Quests
The player then receives a quest to learn how to make a Power Shake.
Upon returning after learning how to make a Power Shake from Phillipe Gastrognome Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "You are now a student of Gastrognome! I never thought he would take an apprentice."
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Perhaps you could use Gastrognome's Cookomatic to make me a Power Shake?"
The player then receives a quest to give a Power Shake.
Upon returning with a Power Shake Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "You... You have it? You have the Power Shake?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the Power Shake to Geodo Pickmason.
After the Power Shake is dragged to him Geodo Pickmason says:
- "Glug Glug Aaah! I can feel the energy returning to my weary bones already. This is wonderful!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "I may have my fire back, but my frame grows ever fragile..."
- "I do miss the soft touch of wooden Yorubo furniture... Could you buy me a Rocking Chair?"
The player then receives a quest to give a Rocking Chair.
- A Rocking Chair will immediately become available to purchase at Woodcutter after the quest is given.
Upon returning with a Rocking Chair Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Ooh my aching back... Got a chair for me yet?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the Rocking Chair to Geodo Pickmason.
After the Rocking Chair is dragged over to him Geodo Pickmason says:
- "Ah wood! So much softer than stone!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Seabeard wanted great things for this land..."
- "He may be gone, but his ideals live on through the likes of you and I."
- "Please, feel free to explore Ironblack at your leisure. My home is your home!"
- "So you've met with Ms Quickblade and Dr Cornelius? How the devil are they?"
- "I'd love to see my old friends and their families again, but I cannot abandon my station here."
- "A Geodo must never leave the lands that he protects."
- "Could you provide me with a photograph of Dr Cornelius? I bet they've changed so much."
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of Dr Cornelius.
Upon returning with a photo of Dr Cornelius Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Have you brought me a picture of my old friend Cornelius?"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the photo of Dr Cornelius to Geodo Pickmason.
After the photo of Dr Cornelius is dragged over to him Geodo Pickmason says:
- "Wow! He looks so much... Older!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "And how is young Emelia? Please bring me a photo."
The player then receives a quest to give a photo of Emelia Quickblade.
Upon returning with a photo of Emelia Quickblade Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Have you brought me a photo of Emelia"
- Two options appear with "Nope" and "Sure!"
If "Sure!" is selected then the player has to drag the photo of Emelia Quickblade to Geodo Pickmason.
After the photo of Emelia Quickblade is dragged over to him Geodo Pickmason says:
- "Still looking good! Is she the world's greatest combat teacher? Let's put it to the test with your warrior!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "My comrades mine in some very perilous areas in order to keep the wheels of industry turning..."
- "Perhaps if you rid Abundore Quarry of Gloom Beetles, it would give them a much-needed break."
The player then receives a quest to defeat ten Gloom Beetles.
Upon returning after defeating ten Gloom Beetles Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Ah tis safe for my miners to return to work!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Well I think its high time that Accordia got a little of its Doza history back!"
- "When it was built, a symbol of bond between the Yorubo and Doza was erected - the Gate of Friendship."
- "It now lies in ruins and blocks the way to the Metalwork District - the Doza hub of Accordia."
- "Repair the Gate of Friendship and restore the Doza's place on the new Accordia!"
The player then receives a quest to repair the Gate of Friendship.
Upon returning after repairing the Gate of Friendship Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "The Gate of Friendship is restored! I cannot thank you enough."
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "You are a chip off the old block! Well now Accordia has some Doza flavour, how about we add some to your crew!"
- "One of our finest miners has developed a real taste for adventure and is keen to see the world. I'm sure he would be a great fit!"
- "Now you have all that extra space on Accordia, you should build him his own Crew House."
The player then receives a quest to have four Crew Houses on the home island.
Upon returning after building the fourth Crew House Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Marvellous! Now he has a place to sleep!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Great! Together we can repair the bonds between our tribes. Hire the miner, he's just waiting over there."
The player then receives a quest to hire the Miner.
Upon returning after hiring the Miner Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "I am sure he will serve you well. Please look after him!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Ah yes, I suppose you wonder what you are supposed to do with him, ho ho!"
- "Well, its really very simple - any time you see a pile of ore rock, just give it a tap. Maybe you'll find some metal ore!"
- "We actually have a Practice Rock outside that you can learn the basics. See if you can beat the Practice Rock!"
The player then receives a quest to mine rock at the Practice Rock.
Upon returning after mining rock Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Congratulations! You've clearly got the hang of it."
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Well, with your new found skills, perhaps you can help me with the very problematic Carnival Island?"
- "It used to be a place of happiness and joy but after Colosso's attack, everybody got paranoid."
- "The carnival got shut down when nobody visited it. We need to get it up and working again for the Doza people to let joy back in their lives!"
- "Travel to Abundore Quarry - you will need some resources so I can help you fix up Carnival Island."
- "Take your Miner to Abundore Quarry and look for Ore Rocks - come back to me when you have 3 Iron Ore pieces."
The player then receives a quest to have 3 Iron Ore.
Upon returning with the three iron ore Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "You got the Iron Ore!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "Time to learn how to turn that ore into fine metal bars..."
- "Speak to Lotte Metz, our Forgemaster in the Ironblack Forge next door and she will teach you how to make Iron Bars!"
The player then receives a quest to learn how to make Iron Bars.
Upon returning after learning how to make iron bars Geodo Pickmason says the following:
- "Nice job!"
Geodo Pickmason then gives the player the reward for the quest.
Geodo Pickmason then says the following:
- "You have taken your first step towards becoming a true Doza-style metalworker!"
- "But I'm getting ahead of myself, first show me your handiwork. Come back with 3 Iron Bars."
The player then receives a quest to make and have three Iron Bars.
